Great Hands Holdem Bonus Challenge


Las Vegas, NV – Beginning Wednesday, November 1, poker rooms at all Station Casinos and Fiesta properties will join Palace Station in the $10,000 Great Hands Hold’em Bonus Challenge. Poker players at Palace Station have so far won a total of $30,000 since Great Hands began in August. Similar to bingo, a board will be set up in each poker room containing 25 squares, each containing a high hand and a cash prize amount between $50-$200.

Each square can be hit only once, with the player completing the last square in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line receiving a $500 bonus. Additionally, the player completing the final hand on the board will divide a $2,000 bonus evenly with all of the players at his/her table. “We started at Palace to see if the poker players would like it,” said Weldon Russell, director of ancillary gaming for Station Casinos. “It generated a great deal of interest so we decided to share the fun with all of the properties.”

Tribes may also operate casinos on land acquired after the enactment of the IGRA, subject to certain restrictions and exceptions as set forth in the IGRA and administered by the Secretary of the Interior. The IGRA does not require that a tribe operate a casino within the borders of the state in which the tribe is based.
